All of the supplies:
Glue/Brush, Fibers/Applicator Bottle & Sandpaper.
#2: Basic: Is
just that, just the fibers, glue & instructions.
(No brushes, applicators, etc.)
Shipping: During winter months, all VFGlue will be shipped on Mondays, to reduce freezing and 'sitting' on weekends.
Can
be shipped express or next day, second day, etc.- not hazmat.
Decoy Care: Dry and store the decoys in dark room, or in covered boxes, bags, etc.
Wash with hose (not high pressure nozzle),
brush with soft brush the dirt off and rinse, then touch up if needed for
next year.
Use Dish
soap and soft brush, which you would use on your dishes,

Quantity:
All Kits are rated at 1 dozen, but will do 1-3+ dozen decoys.
The quantity variance depends on decoys size, glue thickness and how many fibers are captured for re-use.
* 1 doz Duck Kits are for standard size shells
or floaters.
** 1 doz Big Foot Kits = estimated 2 doz standard or 1/2 doz super magnum.
Works on all kinds of decoys- full bodies to silhouettes.
But due to the various types of paint and plastic used by each manufacture, test spots should be preformed.
Also check different years of manufactured products. The manufacture may vary its process and products used from year to year.
Prepare the surface as needed and then flock. May need to sand and prime if the plastic has never been painted or is bare. |

FIBERS: Quality industrial nylon grade fibers which are precision cut, have true colors, hold their color and are very durable.
The fibers give velvet effect to emulate the same light
reflective properties of real feathers.

GLUE: Specialty glue formulated just for AERO. Water reduceable and water cleanup
until the poly fibers set up.
The high polymer
glue has some flex and elasticity to meet the demands of plastic decoys in the elements..
Glue
is Waterproof once cured. Non-hazardous
glue & environment friendly too.
Glue's surface sets up 10+ minutes, tack sets in
2-3 hours
& is fully cured in 72 hours.
Aero's glue is superior to adhesives and paint which is used as glue base.
Buy custom
colors. The glue helps
to hide imperfections and covers
the under lying plastic color. The glue blends with the fibers.
When the fibers wear, the glue helps to maintain the color,
until you can touch up your decoys.
Testing. A different glue shade may actually give the flocking
some more tones, which will increase realism.
For added detail, air brush over the flocking.
Use & Storage: Stir before using.
Make sure all precipitated color particles are dispersed.
Do
not shake or stir fast and incorporate air bubbles in to
the glue. Do not freeze. Store in 50 - 90 degrees F.
