Deadly Duck Blind:

Designed by a guide.
  • Proven to be successful all season long, even for late season birds.
  • Built for endurance and portability, to meet the needs of a guide service’s daily use, to be at the right spot every time. Hunters love the blind. Good visibility with a little arrangement of the camouflage.
  • Remember to scout and place the blind in the’ hot spot’ where the birds were yesterday.
  • If the birds do not cooperate, simply move to a better location.

The unique pitched roof design with sloped sides in the front & back that minimizes shadows that flare birds. This enables the blind to resemble a naturally occurring ‘pile’ in the field or on the waters edge. Roof support struts are also arched for support and to maintain the shape. Rugged construction is of 5/8” to 1” galvanized square steel tubing, which is very strong and resists crimping. (Square tubing is superior to round tubing because when round tubing is crimped it tends to break.) Our non-stress bending process adds durability and allows for a minimum of welds.

Primed and painted a sand color that blends into most settings. Paint is a quality, flat camouflage paint.

The design offers durable rugged service for many years, if used with care.

Shooting:

Use the shooting/trap door 3 ways: flip out or lower inside, or leave door down.
The duck blind is taller than the goose blind, which allows for a larger shooting opening.
Unique shooting door is quieter than a whisper, to reduce bird flare. 6 man has two trap shooting doors.

  1. Leave the door down inside and add some natural materials to fill in the opening and enjoy watching the birds. This offers great visibility during the early season.
  2. Lowering the door quietly inside buys you a few precious seconds by not flaring the birds. This method is used for wary birds and or geese. Plus it gives the shooter time so they do not have to rush their shots.
  3. Flipping the door out before shooting gives you the ability to shoot quickly.

Deadly Duck Dimensions:

The base width is 75” (6' 3"). The height at pitched roof point- 56" (4’ 8”). The length changes depending on the size of the blind.
The 6 man blind has split (2) trap doors.

MAXIMUS BLINDS: The ‘Deadly Duck Blind’

Use the blinds the guide services swear by!

Easy to transport
Pull the pins and stack the panels and transport in your truck or trailer.
Use a sheet of plywood to lay the panels on if your model hangs over the end of your tailgate or needs support on the side. You do not want to ‘tweak’ the panels because the pins will not line up for quick assembly. The panels are fitted to one another.
Or leave assembled and carry (by hand or across the top of a truck bed) to the edge of field, so it is ready to go for the next day.

Camouflage:
To cover the blind, use natural materials to match your surroundings or fabric or man- made materials.
Finish camouflaging to blend into the environment by mounding up natural materials from the setting along three sides (not the access/door end). Nest into habitat along the shore. Insert weeds, etc. for added camouflage.
In a field make it look like a small hill or a pile of corn, hay, etc in a field.

EZ-FAB Blind material is used to cover the panels. Almost indestructible.
Extremely durable, versatile & very lightweight. Dead Grass color blends into most settings.
Only weighs ½ pound per linear foot at 54” high.

  • Use EZ-FAB on blind frames & structures because it holds it shape and supports coverings.
  • Use EZ-FAB as a free standing blind. Stands up on its own. Insert natural materials and hide within the shape.
  • EZ-FAB makes the slickest quick portable set up for ducks, turkey or deer. Perfect for archery.
  • Just insert natural materials & disappear. If needed use sticks or thin poles, like tent poles, for extra support.
  • EZ-FAB’s openings are perfect for inserting natural materials, or holding loose brush or grain stubble.

Camo Grass’s Mats. They are natural reeds woven into 4’ square shag mats that give a 3-D surface. Paintable when new. Easily attached with ties or twine. Individual knots will not unravel and trimable from any direction.
